Subject: Community Support Needed for Family Affected by House Fire
Dear Semitropic Community/Family,
We are reaching out to inform you that one of our beloved families has recently experienced a devastating house fire. The family of four has lost their home and many of their belongings, and they need our help during this incredibly difficult time.
To support them, we are accepting donations in any form, including:
Clothing:
Female child: Small adult shirt, 12 kids’ bottoms, size 5 shoes
Male child: 36x32 pants, large adult shirts, size 9.5 men’s shoes
Female adult: Medium adult shirt, size 8 pants, size 7 shoes
Bathroom Items: Towels, toiletries, hygiene products, etc.
Food: Non-perishable items, fresh food, or gift cards for groceries.
Gift Cards: Any amount is appreciated for essential purchases.
We are asking for the community’s generosity to help this family rebuild and recover. Your support, no matter how small, will make a big difference in their lives during this challenging time. Please feel free to drop off donations at Semitropic or reach out if you need help coordinating a donation to Ms. Delgado.
Together, we can provide this family with the assistance they need and show them that they are not alone. We are here to support them every step of the way.

Sparkling Image Car Wash of Bakersfield will host its annual fundraiser to benefit the Kern Environmental Education Program (Camp KEEP) on Friday, Sept. 20.
For every full-service car wash or oil change purchased that day, Sparkling Image will donate 50 percent of its proceeds to the KEEP Foundation. Since 2011, Sparkling Image has donated more than $100,000.

WOW Wildcats! We did it again!!!!!
It is only day 6 of school and we already hit 100% attendance. That means every student enrolled at Semitropic was here today! We can not be more proud of our students, parents and staff who made this possible. We are living up to this years theme of "Starting the year off WRITE!" Semitropic hopes we get to take more photos just like this throughout the year to celebrate Wildcats in school, Wildcats learning, and Wildcats growing! We can do this by coming to school everyday. ROAR Wildcats, ROAR!
