The goal of today’s survey is to gather feedback from parents regarding their experiences with the school, school climate, and to inform program planning and improvement moving forward. The results of this survey will be useful in helping the WKC districts to improve programming in order to improve behavioral outcomes and learning conditions for all students. A few things that you should know about your rights in this study:
Your participation in this survey is voluntary. You do not have to take this survey.

Hello Wildcat Families,
We want to inform you that we are currently short a driver for Route 22 for the remainder of the school year. At this time, we have four staff members in the process of obtaining their CDL, and we are hopeful they will pass their exams soon, as it is a lengthy process.
In the meantime, Ms. Nevarez will be covering the route as follows:
Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday: Ms. Nevarez will drive both morning and afternoon routes.
Wednesday and Friday: Ms. Nevarez will drive the morning route, and we will follow Plan B for the afternoon.

Good morning, Semitropic families!
This is a reminder that there is no school tomorrow. We look forward to seeing everyone on Tuesday!
¡Buenos dĂas, familias de Semitropic!
Este es un recordatorio de que mañana no hay clases. ¡Nos vemos el martes!

Dear Parents and Guardians of 3rd Grade Students, January 31, 2025
We hope you are doing well. We are writing to inform you of an important change that will affect your child’s 3rd-grade class for the remainder of the school year. Due to a staffing transition, we will be combining the 3rd-grade class with the 4th-grade class. This means your child’s class will be taught as a 3rd/4th-grade combination class.
Mrs. Fields, who is an experienced and familiar educator to many of our students, will be teaching the combined class. We are confident that Mrs. Fields’ leadership and dedication will provide a supportive and enriching learning environment for all students. She will work closely with both 3rd and 4th graders to ensure that each child’s educational needs are met.
This change comes in light of Mr. Wolff’s resignation from his position as the 8th-grade teacher. As a result, Mrs. Sabala will be transitioning to the 8th-grade classroom next month. While we know this shift may raise some questions, we want to reassure you that we are committed to providing a smooth transition and maintaining a high standard of education for your child.
We understand that combining grades may feel like a significant change, but we believe it will create valuable opportunities for collaboration, learning, and growth for all students.
If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out to the school office. We are here to support you and your child through this transition.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support.

We had a fun filled first Saturday school! Students had some one on one reading and math support. Lego challenges, painting and played sports. They really enjoyed themselves and want to know when the next Saturday school is!

Saturday School starts this Saturday, January 25th from 8am-4pm. Transportation available. Applications went home with students today, please check your students backpack. Call Ms. Cece at 661-758-6412 x117 if you have any questions. All students welcome! This is a great opportunity for students to come have fun, make up assignments, and attendance.

See all students and staff Tuesday January 21, 2025!
